About

After many years spent working as a graphic designer at a NY publishing company and as a graphic designer in Israel, I have returned to full time painting.

I started my art education in high school's art division in Tel Aviv, under famous Israeli artists such as Moshe Rosentalis, Jakob Zim, Eliyahoo Gat, and others.  I went on to continue my studies at the School for Art Teachers in Tel Aviv, and took a BA in the Art History at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

In New York I took Anatomy and drawings lessons at the Art Students League, watercolor lessons with the late artist Rosemarie Koci from Croton-on-Hudson.

I have been to art workshops with well known artists like E.M. Saniga, John Dubrow, John P. Lasater IV, David Kassan, and local artists like Aram Gershuni, David Nipo, Ilya Gefter, Sigal Tzabari, and more.

I participated in some group shows in Croton-on-Hudson, New York, and in Ra'anana and Hod Hasharon Israel, also had solo shows in Petach Tikva and in Ganei Am, Israel.

I work mainly in oil, though sometimes do watercolor paintings drawings in charcoal and pencil. I focus on plein air (landscapes), still life, and portraits.

For about 18 years I lived and raised my family in Westchester, NY. Now I live in Israel and reside in Hod Hasharon. I work from my studio in Hod Hasharon.
